I wish it was fall already. Not only do I love living in layers, fall fashion, and fall tones, but I’ve always found fall to be a source of new beginnings for me.
I love everything pumpkin too. 🎃🎃🎃 Halloween has pretty much always been my excuse to dress out of my comfort zone and try something off the wall. Thanksgiving just warms the heart, period. Fall, hurry up. 🍂🍂🍁🍁 What’s your favorite season?
I’m hoping you all had a wonderful Christmas/holiday with your loved ones and families, as I sit here trying to be thankful for everything I have, despite my not-so-picture-perfect Christmas. I’m still here though, and as a grown up, I should be able to handle grown up setbacks. We spent Christmas Eve & some of Christmas fixing my ever-broken down car, but at least I got to spend it with someone I care about. Not everyone gets to. It’s about the little things right?
Lately, I’ve been obsessed with embellished sweaters, like this one by Dorothy and Perkins (dorothyperkins.com);
There’s something about winter that makes it okay to add a little more girly extras. I love it, and I love mixing mrnswear classics and basics with feminine touches.
I can’t walk in a winter wonderland, ao I drew one. Visiting Switzerland, and seeing snow period are definitely on my bucket list. I’m pretty sure my weak Californian bones will be shivering in my boots, but that’s okay. I think sledding and cute log cabins will be worth it. It’s only raining and 52° here in Burbank, and I need 5 layers. 😊
There’s something special about curling up near the fireplace with a blanket, a book, and a cup of cocoa.
Right now I’m inspired by corduroy dresses, layers, turtlenecks under dresses, and Christmas Eve Eve. 🍬👢☕🎄
