This Spring, the Pantone color palette is all about understated, nature-inspired, cool & soft tones, reminiscent of an impressionistic painters’ work. It makes sense then, that the theme this year was En Plein Air. Personally, I’m digging it and think it’s perfectly suited to Spring. Here are my 5 favorite Spring 2015 Pantone colors and how to incorporate them into your Spring look:
This cool dreamy blue is simply lovely. It reminds me of mermaids, clear skies, and makes me feel peaceful. It’d be a great color choice for a bedroom…hmm.

Here is a perfectly fabulous ready-to-wear example of how to do Aquamarine. As many of you may know, I’m a sucker for tulle skirts. Maybe I am a closet ballerina. Love everything about this outfit!
The Formula X by Sephora nail polish in Pastel Sky is serene and perfect for Spring. It would pair well on your toes with some cute tan or toasted almond sandals. Here is one of my favorite pairs for Spring/Summer from Zara:
The strawberry ice color is refreshing, creamy, and sweet, just like its namesake. I’ve been using it and its cousins a lot lately in my collages as some of you may have noticed. I can’t get enough of it and have loved all shades of pink since childhood. It pairs perfectly with toasted almond, aquamarine, and even marsala. Here is a great ready to wear example:

Jin Soon nail polish in tea rose is the ideal soft feminine shade for both hands and feet this spring /summer. As shown on the model above, it’d be kick-ass with gladiator sandals.
Custard reminds me of my Mom’s delicious flan and a delicious egg breakfast. I love all creamy pastel-y shades really. This shade manages to be sunny and muted at once, which is pretty cool. An on-point custard ready-to-wear example:
Urban Decay’s 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Goldmine comes in a likable, glam shade that is a bit of a Ziggy Stardust take on custard. It would be nice winged out, paired with a leather jacket and gold dress.
Toasted Almond is another color I’ve been using a lot in my collages and in my day to day wardrobe as well. It’s soft, inviting, and very wearable. It goes with almost anything. Even though this look appeared on a runway, I think it’s very doable and perfect for a date or girls night.

This Essie polish in Blossom Dandy is so chic and sophisticated yet modern. I love polishes in neutrals for all seasons. You could easily wear this into the Fall, so not a bad purchase to make. Lastly…
Marsala was selected by Pantone to be THE color of the year and is rich, warm, and simply elegant shade. It’s a muted wine that pairs well with every other SS Pantone color and is a very attractive shade overall.
I absolutely love this look. Great job Little Nostalgia! 🙂
Also, I couldn’t not put these “Riley” open toed booties in by Halogen. Swoon worthy. I could go on with the shoes but…
Marsala is the perfect lipstick shade. It’s ladylike and could probably make just about anyone look put together. Check out My Beauty Box Reviews picks: http://mybeautyboxreview.com/marsala-lipsticks-2015-pantone-color-of-the-year/
